Regina LaRusso

Joining the Allegra Dance Studio staff this season is Regina LaRusso, resident of Greenwich and alumna of Allegra, studying dance since the age of seven.   At age eight, she became a member of the Allegra Junior Company and continued as a member of Allegra’s Performing Companies until graduating from high school.   While in high school, Regina was a captain of the Greenwich High School Dance Team, performing in several school and community shows.   Upon graduation, she attended Fordham University in New York City and holds degrees in both sociology and criminal justice.   At Fordham, Regina’s love of dance and commitment to modern and classical technique continued.   She became a member of the prestigious Expressions Dance Alliance, a student-run choreographing, instructing, and performing company.   After only one year, she was elected president and enjoyed not only performing but experiencing the “back stage” world of lighting, sound, and production.
Currently, Regina works as an event planner for a large New York concern.   She remains passionate about dance, continues to study, and is excited to share her enthusiasm and talent with Allegra’s newest generation of dancers.
